About me

Creativity has always been a big part of my life, through childhood to textile designer, and on to the most important -in becoming a parent! After 15 years of a dedicated daily yoga practise and years out raising little ones, choosing to train as a Hatha Yoga teacher was a way to establish self-care. Teaching enabled me to combine the most important elements in my life: yoga, creativity and people.

I enjoy focused teaching one to one, and with small adult groups, so my current adult classes in East Finchley are friendly and no bigger than 9 people.

I continued my training with Children's yoga, and currently enjoy sharing yoga with nursery children at Coram's Fields, and other local primary schools. It's fun, inspiring and a lovely experience.

I found my niche with further specialism in Teens, with the Teen Yoga Foundation. It proved to be the most personally rewarding as I feel it’s so important for teens to be in tune with their feelings and bodies. The experience of yoga can be both grounding and empowering. Through yoga and mindfulness, we learn to connect with our emotions and inner self. I want to help them find the strength and confidence to make honest choices and accept what life brings.
