Charm Donohue
Creativity has always been a big part of my life, from childhood to textile designer, then on to the most important -becoming a parent. After 15 years of a dedicated yoga practise, choosing to train as a Hatha Yoga teacher was a way of establishing self-care. Through teaching I combine the most important elements in my life: yoga, creativity and people.

I enjoy focused teaching, with private sessions, and small friendly adult classes in East Finchley.
Widening my expertise to include Teens and Children's Yoga has led me to sharing yoga with nursery children at Coram's Fields, Monkey Puzzle and in local primary & secondary schools. It's inspiring to see how they respond to yoga.

I find working with Teens exceptionally beneficial as yoga can help them tune in to their feelings and bodies. The experience of yoga can be both grounding and empowering. This can help them to make better choices and to be open to what life brings.

My teaching style has always stemmed from a helpful and compassionate place, so has felt a natural progression to embark on Yoga Therapy Training with Yogacampus and TrueYoga.

Why Yoga
Hatha Yoga is the balance of physical practice with an inner connection. The movement increases our strength and flexibility, but when synced with the breath we approach a mindful awareness. To increase our wellbeing brings a deeper understanding of ourselves; of others and of our world.
Teen Yoga
Teen yoga is about empowerment through mindful movement. The connection with body and breath results in feelings of stability and being comfortable with who they during a time of transition.
