Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is a holistic approach that addresses the whole person, working with specific concerns through body postures, movement, and breath.

 

The aim of yoga therapy is to empower you by increasing flexibility in both your physical body and nervous system. This enables you to skilfully switch between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems with greater ease and choice.
 

We focus on achieving your chosen goal by designing a personalised home practice over a course of therapy sessions. This allows us to tailor and re-work the practice to your specific needs and progress. Techniques incorporated may include postures, breath work, relaxation, sound, reflection, and meditation.

These sessions are suitable for both children and adults, and can support a wide range of health and emotional issues, including anxiety, depression, cancer, stress, sleeping/eating disorders, trauma, and neurodiversity.
